We insist on
abiding by the Canadian laws and regulations under the
guidelines of FINTRAC(Financial Transaction and report analysis
Centre of Canada)
The AML/ATF Policy of eastern Union Money
Exchange to prohibit and actively pursue the prevention of money
laundering and any activity that facilitates the prevention of
money laundering or the funding of terrorist or criminal
activity.
Based on the risk, we will take extra precaution
during the time of each transaction with our customer. We will
observe all regulatory requirements in any jurisdiction where we
conduct business. Our company Eastern
Union Money Exchange has detailed procedures on KYC(Know your
Customer) with the following norms:

Address: Contact Number:
SIN (Social insurance Number): Photo
Identification (Driver License or
other comparable Source)
Source of fund is ensured to be legitimate, where Applicable/
support details suspicious circumstances must be reported in
accordance with FINTRAC applicable legal to commence with the
transaction requested.
Record will be kept
over 5 (Five) years. Soft copies of all our operations will be
available in the system, as well original hard copies of
operation with their supporting documents will maintained
well-organized manner with easy retrieval facility through the
period.
To control and
maintain compliance with the FINTRAC regulations we will form a
committee who will monitor the whole procedures and our
chartered accountant and expert will performs random checks to
assure quality of compliance.
We will not notify
to any customer involved in the transaction that the transaction
has been reported. We will maintain all STR ( Suspicious
Transaction Report) and any the supporting documents as
confidential.
